Brancacci 1960 represents a new approach to the Ciabot Winery oenological world. The idea comes from a very close collaboration between the Fia and Brancacci families which were inspired by the Brancacci Chapel in Florence, which is the clearest example of Renaissance painting that has left its mark on history! Brancacci 1960 would also like to leave a small legacy, with the introduction of high-quality wines. But with the most eco-compatible packaging materials available on the market to try to reduce environmental pollution which has become, unfortunately, a world issue. With these inspirations & issues, we have formed our mission.
All Brancacci 1960 wines are produced by the Ciabot Winery located in Farigliano - Italy, which has produced quality wines since 1896 in the Langhe region of Piedmont, Italy. Italy is currently the world’s largest producer of wines, this alcoholic drink has been produced for thousands of years with traces as far back as 7000 A. C. and still appreciated in most countries. Now, with the 4th. generation, the Ciabot Winery has decided to try to use its knowledge & skills to build this new concept brand.
Philosophy and concept
Quality & Waste management is our primary objective and our mission is to produce wines of the best possible quality at the most reasonable price, using all the eco-compatible materials available on the market. Starting from its grapes, all our bottles are from recycled glass, corks are 100% natural and biodegradable, capsules are made from natural bee’s wax, labels are all from recycled paper printed with natural non-toxic dyes. This brings us to our non-coloured outer cartons & the shipping pallets; our interlocking cartons were developed by us so that they do not need any plastic taping or glue to close them and all printing is again from non-toxic natural dyes. The pallets we use are called INKA pallets, whereas they are made from pressed particle board, 100% ecological & certified PEFC.
Our Labels are of minimalist style, with elegant lines that redesign our new philosophy in the Concept Winery which encases and identifiable in the Brancacci 1960 label. The combination of accent colours and the choice of using numbers and letters, rather than words or names, are intended to highlight our vision and follows an accurate conceptual path, which is designed specifically for the naming of our products.
In the wake of this approach, the acronym gives life to a harmonious play on words which, in addition to having a strong visual impact, becomes the common thread of the Brancacci 1960 brand, which our public can recognize and identify themselves with.
Based on our mission and inspirations the Ciabot Winery has created a fund that will donate part of proceeds from the sales of the Brancacci 1960 wines, called, The Brancacci & Fia fund. Starting at the end of 2020, this fund will give 5% of all profits to organizations that deal with environmental protection and in particular waste reduction management and we, therefore, ask you to join us in our dream!
